"Save the Date" for Summer Reading

Mark your calendars for Thursday, February 21st!

The annual Summer Reading Program Planning Workshop will be taking place at the Green Bay Botanical Garden. Exact times, activities and speakers are still be planned, but the date and location are set !

The 2013 theme is "Dig Into Reading."

Teen Read Week Video Contest

Libraries are encouraging their tween/teen patrons to participate in a Teen Read Week Video Contest.

Participants must submit a video on why they love their library or why they love to read.  The contest runs from September 24 - October 12, with the top three winners being announced during Teen Read Week.  The winners will also receive Amazon Gift Cards.


The library with the top winner will also receive a $100 gift card. 

Your library can still participate - it's not too late!

Grassroots Recap

We had a great Grassroots meeting on Thursday, September 14th!

Panelists Sharon Verbeten, Jennifer Thiele and Ashley Thiem-Menning did a great job talking about serving kids on the autism spectrum.. The librarians who attended also got a chance to share summer projects!

Congratulations to Sandy Kallunki and Wendy Spice, who won the $25 Amazon gift cards.
