On
August 9, Cindy Tuschy of the Gillett Library spent the night on the library's
roof. That's what the summer reading program kids voted for her to do if they
met their reading goal, and they did!
Because
it was Cindy’s birthday, the community celebrated with her in the evening before she made the
climb.
Despite
the early rain, lots of patrons came out to wish her a happy birthday and brought
her goodies to survive the night (including cappuccino, homemade cookies,
McDonald's french fries, and bananas, to name a few).
Other community members honked their horns as they drove by. Cindy survived the night and even woke up with a smile!
You
