The Brown County Library held its annual Summer Reading Program Kick-Off Event on Saturday, June 7 at the Downtown location. Highlights included comedy juggler, Steve Russell (Comedy with a Catch); scavenger hunt, face painting, prize drawings, root beer, popcorn, balloons, appearances by Rover Reader and Strawberry Shortcake; sidewalk chalk art and a first chance to sign up for the Summer Reading Program.
The event was attended by more than 500 people and was sponsored by the Green Bay Women’s Club.
