SRP Materials for Jim Lenz

I am working on a press release, PSA and poster for Jim Lenz's "Stage Magic" at some of your libraries this summer. It should be going out in early May.

If some of you saw Jim at the SRP Workshop and are not scheduled to get him, he might be able to work you in if he is already visiting a library near you. Mileage costs would be minimal. Check out his website, http://www.magicofjimlenz.com, for his schedule and to contact him. He loves performing at libraries and would probably be willing to negotiate something!

Harry Potter Event in Oshkosh

Sandy Joseph of the Oshkosh Public Library informed me of event in conjunction with the Harry Potter release this summer. Apparently, to date it's the largest event in the country being planned! The downtown Oshkosh Business Improvement District (BID) is organizing the event. It will be taking place from 4 pm - midnight on Friday, July 20th. Most of the activities are FREE (including the Live Owls program at the library).

There will be entertainment and activities for all ages. Come and join in the fun as Downtown Oshkosh will be transformed into the world of Harry Potter.
There will be decorations all around Main Street. They are planning on
people in costume, street performers, an HP movie on the square and a
variety of small activities at participating businesses on Main Street.

Sandy said she would keep me posted in case any of us are interested in going there for the event. It sounds pretty cool!
